So, I actually wound up failing a class this last semester. First class I have ever failed in my life, or ever even really come close to failing. I've gone into a Final for a class failing that class before, but have always come out on top, because I always had the confidence and such. It seems ideals and such from your favorite Anime cannot always apply to real life......
WRONG
Let's look at it realistically (if you tell me putting the ideals and strengths of an Anime character and applying it to your own life is not realistic, then Alt+F4 now, you are psychologically damaged for life.). This is my favorite example, and it made me feel worlds better about failing my class: Even Naruto failed graduation at the Ninja Academy multiple times. It's true, even our #1 Ninja hero has had hard times, harder times than we could possibly ever imagine, but nonetheless, it happens. Naruto always failed at what he is now best at. There's no reason I can't do the same. Point: Naruto is a badass,
The interesting point this brings us to is, WTF is the point is college? We already know WTF the point of High School is. Of course we hate homework and such, but the point of High School is not actually to learn the material they give you. And I'm being completely serious here, but it's true. Actually learning the information creates a genius who is socially inept. The point of High School is to shape your personality and give you the capacity to learn about the world. It's to shape whether or not you are a useless human being who takes drugs and needs to kill themselves, or whether you're a great person someone wants to hire. It's to make you stronger. Knowing the capital of every country in the world does NOT make you stronger, but going through the task of trying to know every country in the world does. It's really hard to explain, and I'm pretty sure no one has any idea what I'm talking about, but High School is about shaping your personality and life, not learning individual subjects.
So WTF is the point of College? I failed a class called Operating Systems, which is all about everything that has already been done and proven over and over for a computer. Let's get to the point: Failing a class that has no value of living in the real world stops you from getting to the real world. I failed a class that makes it take longer to get a real job and support myself, and the class had no value whatsoever. I'm NOT saying that education is pointless, and college should be eliminated. I'm saying that something needs to be changed within our educational system but I don't know what, I'm typing this all to put it in words and curious to see if anyone agrees with me, which I'm sure they do.
Exhibit A: I barely managed to pass a class where the average for the final was a 57.6%. THE AVERAGE FOR THE FINAL WAS FAILURE. Besides the fact that this shouldn't be acceptable, WTF IS THE POINT?! WHY give an exam that more than half the class fails? What does that prove? Does it help shape your personality when your studying? No, it does'nt. It does nothing but cause stress (I don't have stress, but I know alot of people do. Anime = life with no stress :D ). Oh damn, what do they call it when you take an exam when your 21 years old that has nothing you will ever need to know ever again? Oh, thats right. A GIGANTIC WASTE OF TIME.
I could say a whole lot more, but I think the point is clear.
Anyways, in conclusion, drugs are bad. Play Team Fortress 2 or something you useless pot smoking bastards. You failed the personality check in High School, kthxdiaf.
